The children in Year 2 were excited to visit Westcroft Library. We explored the different types of books that can be borrowed from the library and how to find certain books. Some children were already members of the library and those children who were not members  were very excited to receive their own library card as part of the visit. After exploring the library the children used the machine and their library card to borrow a book to take home. We also found out some very interesting facts. There are eight libraries in The London Borough of Sutton and anyone with a library card can borrow up to 25 books for three weeks at a time! Happy reading everyone!
