08 Jun Year 2 trip to Hever Castle
Year 2 were delighted to visit Hever Castle as part of their new topic Towers, Tunnels and Turrets. We learned about all the different parts of a castle. To enter the castle we had to walk across the drawbridge, which went over the moat. We had a great day, thank you to Beddington Buddies for helping us with the cost of the trip. We can’t wait to use our new knowledge to build our own castles! The guides at the castle, people who were visiting the castle and the coach drivers all commented on how well behaved the children were. The guides specifically noted how engaged the children were, asking questions that showed a deep level of understanding. Well done everyone!
