At Beddington Infants’ School, every year group does its own Christmas performance.

The Year 2 children were delighted to present the story of Pinocchio. The children chose which character they would like to play in the story; there were puppets, snow people, cats, fairies, wizards, foxes, children, narrators and members of the band. These was of course also Pinocchio, Geppetto, Figaro, a Teacher and the Blue Fairy.

The children helped to script each scene, deciding on their own lines in the play.  They also learned lots of new songs and the actions to accompany them.

Co-operating as a whole Year Group they listened to each other, knowing when it was their turn go on stage or speak.

The final production was enjoyed by everyone! Congratulations to everyone in Year 2!
