The children in Year 2 have been exploring telling the time. They have drawn their own clocks, thinking about how to space the numbers around the clock. In small groups they have enjoyed making times on a large clock carpet, and then writing the time to match.

They have also drawn the hands on clock images in their maths books to show the times they have learned. They have had lots of discussions about how long it takes to complete jobs, thinking about how many seconds there are in a minute and how many minutes there are in an hour.
