Salt Dough Decorations in Reception

On Monday Reception had lots of fun making salt dough. We followed simple instructions to create a salt dough decoration.

1. First we learned how to knead the dough. We told the children that we wanted to remove any air bubbles.

2. Next we rolled the dough into a sphere. We talked about how a sphere is a ball shape. It is a 3D shape.

3. Then we flattened our shape to make a circle.

4. Finally we got to decorate our decorations with seeds.
