We have been channelling our inner scientists in Year 1 during Earth Awareness recently, challenging our understanding of the world with the help of microscopes. The children all had the opportunity to use microscopes to investigate a variety of materials and everyday objects in great detail. We have really put our observational skills to the test identifying and describing what we saw. The discussion about microscopes generated fantastic questions and suggestions from the children too.
