Following their visit to Hever Castle, children in Year 2 are considering how to make their own strong, stable model castles. As part of this process they explored making structures with a range of materials, both small and large scale. The children learned several techniques for joining materials so they are strong and stable. They discussed lots of features which they will now incorporate into their plans for their model castles.
