02 Feb Dr. Alexandra Lindsay visits Beddington Infants’ School
The children at Beddington Infants’ School were fascinated to discover how we hear. We were delighted to welcome Dr. Alexandra Lindsay to assembly. She talked to the children about the role each part of the ear has in helping them to hear. Dr. Alexandra used an otoscope (a tool which shines a beam of light to help visualize and examine the condition of the ear canal and eardrum) to show us the inside of the ears of some adult volunteers. Following on from the assembly the children have continued their learning, exploring models of the ear.
Thank you to Barry Williams for arranging another extremely interesting assembly.
