Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account.
The school’s most recent Ofsted Inspection was in July 2023.
Beddington Infants’ School Ofsted Report July 2023
We are delighted with the outcome, particularly the first three words ‘Children thrive here.’
Congratulations to the children, families, staff and governors on making this school such an inspirational centre of learning. Together, we can achieve anything.
Only one action point was identified, which we were aware of and had been working on. This will be embedded fully in the very near future.
Many of you will be aware that we have long been asked to share our Learning Naturally philosophy and methodology with other schools; the Ofsted team agreed, noting our unique and highly successful approach to learning and personal development. Plans to expand the sharing of how children learn at Beddington Infants’ School are currently under way.
This is a very exciting time for Beddington Infants’ School!
